Children's Activities
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Meets at 9:40a.m. every Sunday with age-specific classes for all 2 year olds through elementary. People may also serve as teacher substitutes, office help, song leaders, snack providers, craft helpers, Christmas program helpers.

CHILDREN'S CHAPEL
One or two adult leaders, with the help of Jr. or Sr. Hi students, escort children (ages 3-7) after the children's message and prior to the sermon for an age appropriate lesson and craft in the Administration building during the 8:15 & 11:00a.m. services. Adults who love children and can handle large groups with exuberance should apply! All materials are provided.
Time Involved: Adults and teen helpers are scheduled to serve once a month for 20 minutes.

FIRST COMMUNION CLASS
The class is offered twice a year, prior to Reformation Sunday (in October) and Easter, for First grade or older children who have not yet had First Communion instruction. Register in the Church Office.

JUNIOR YOUTH FOR CHRIST (JYC)
Children in K-5th grades meet on the second & fourth Wednesday nights, September-April, for pizza, a devotion, songs, crafts, games and fellowship. Adults who love children and can handle high velocity fun and action can serve as craft and game leaders. Helpers are also needed to serve the pizza and cleanup.
Time Involved: Depending on how many times you volunteer, the time varies from 2 hours to 4 hours a month.

LUTHERHILL CAMP RETREATS IN LA GRANGE, TEXAS
Fall and spring overnight camping experiences are offered for 3rd - 5th graders at Camp Lutherhill in LaGrange. Scholarships are available.

NURSERY
Care is provided for newborns through 2 year olds at the 3 morning services in room #15 of the Education (Learning Center) building. Caregivers are paid staff with safety certification.

WORSHIP ART ACTIVITIES
Opportunity: Crayons and colored pencils in packets, as well as activity pages coordinated with the Gospel lesson, are available in the lobby for children ages 5-9. Donation of art supplies (crayons and colored pencils) are appreciated.
YOUTH CHOIRS
Children’s Choir is for grades 1-4. We meet on Wednesdays from 7 — 8 p.m. in Room C in The Gathering Place.

Little Musicians are for children ages 3 (but a little younger is okay) up through kindergarten. We meet Tuesdays from 10 — 10:30 a.m. or Thursdays from 6:30 — 7 p.m. in Room C of The Gathering Place. It’s the same class, just different times.
Junior High Singers We would love to form a junior high choir. Music, CD or audio file can be sent to you. That way, you can learn the music on your own time, and just get together for rehearsals.
